Biometric tattoos the next in wearable tech
Wearable tech for data gathering of a person’s medical condition has been a hot subject for a couple of years and a frequent topic in this blog series. Now the Texas-based software company Chaotic Moon developing a high-tech tattoo consisting of conductive paint and other components with the purpose of collecting health and other biometric data from the human body. They call it a biowearable. “It’s an eco-friendly, non-invasive use of a platform that basically turns you into a human circuit board”, says the company CEO Ben Lamm.

Google and Apple taking on the inside of your car
The journey towards the digital compatible car is safely but surely reaching a new chapter as a growing number of car manufacturers are starting to integrate Apple and Google interfaces in their new vehicles. One of these manufacturers is General Motors, who allegedly will be making Apple CarPlay available in their new cars. Enabling voice control while driving, CarPlay potentially opens up a new market for the auto industry. Will we have apps for our car?

The new space race continues
Jeff Bezos of Amazon has his own rocket venture, Blue Origin, and competes with Elon Musk and Richard Branson in the race to space – and Bezos just beat Elon to the first reusable rocket landing. Elon however, on a much harder mission keeps pushing and as we know aims higher than just space tourism, Mars. Nonetheless we can be sure that our kids will have several opportunities to go to Space and perhaps even Mars, the race goes on!
