AI = ten times faster (for USPS)
The US Postal Service (USPS) has been testing AI together with NVIDIA and their GPUs that are developed for deep learning. The technology will help USPS read address labels both faster and more accurately.
“Delivery and testing of the system will begin this year, and the AI is expected to be fully operational in spring of 2020.”
NVIDIA are claiming their system will make processing times 10 times faster. Interesting to see real hands-on application of AI!
