Background – the Ericsson EA Program

During the Enterprise Architecture Program you will gain deeper knowledge about the different structural dimensions that make up the Enterprise Architecture – as well as learn how they interplay and support each other. The program covers the structural components that enable realization of the ambition – business strategy, business model, business requirements, capabilities, processes, information, systems and governance. The program is a combination of theory and its practical application taught through instructor-led classroom sessions and a web-based introduction to Enterprise Architecture.

Please note that you need manager approval for both of the program presented below!

Web-based Training: The first part of the program is web-based and built up of a set of sessions that will give the participant a sound introduction to Enterprise Architecture. The training you will get in this EA introductory course is an industry-generic Enterprise Architecture training based on Cordial’s EA framework. Unified Architecture is an adaption of it, and differences in terminology and methodology between them can occur. It can be a taken as a stand alone training or in combination with the instructor-led part of the program. Please see the UA Ericoll site for details on Unified Architecture terminology and methodology.

Training path and Diploma

The first module (Introduction to Enterprise Architecture) is a ”stand alone” module. If you only need an overview of this competence area you can settle with that. The web-based training is prerequisite for the Instructor-led part of the EA program.  You can participate in the Instructor-led training by attending our scheduled sessions in Kista or by organizing a session locally delivered for your team (in separate agreement with Cordial and in accordance to the preferred supplier agreement with Ericsson). When you have completed both parts of the Enterprise Architecture Program you will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Location

The Instructor-led Training will be held at Ericsson premises in Kista. Room details to be announced.
You can also organize a session locally delivered for your team (in separate agreement with Cordial and in accordance to the preferred supplier agreement with Ericsson). Please contact anna-maria.rosenberg@cordial.se if you would like us to deliver a EA Program locally for your team.
