Enterprise Architecture Program (8 days)
BACKGROUND
Since 2007, Cordial have successfully delivered tailor made compact programs as well as separate education modules and seminars on the Business-, Process-, Information- and System Architecture field.
The overall aim of the Enterprise Architecture Program is to prepare companies for a business-driven process and IT development – mastering both technology and structural aspects of a business through enterprise modeling and architectural design.
The program focus on a practical approach to development of architectures and solutions based on experiences and best practices. Cordial uses well-designed education modules to configure the specific education program within the Process-, Information and System Architecture.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND DISPOSITION OF THE PROGRAM
Three core skills are developed during the program:
Process-, information- and system modeling
In the program the participants learn how to design, describe and communicate the business structure in terms of process-, information and system models on high level as well as in details.
Architecture Development
In the program the participants learn how to develop an architecture, including processes, information and applications, and how this is used as a governing instrument in solution development.
Making business-driven development of process and IT come true
The modern model-driven and very pragmatic development approach used during the program will ensure that the participants have the right tools for bridging the gap between business and IT and to rationalize the overall business development process.

Learning to develop a Strategic Solution Architecture
Learning the methodology for internal and external market scan with focus on reuse
Learning how to work with business model driven requirement specification
Learning how to work with user driven requirement specification
Learning how to design a solution for reusability
Day 7-8 (Case Studies and follow up):
Learning how to maintain solutions with focus on architecture
How do we use the theory in practice
Home Assignment: Solution and requirement specification
Connecting the Business Architecture Framework to existing projects
How do we develop the framework and methodology and how do we turn the learning into practice?
