Business Architecture Program (7 days)
BACKGROUND
The Business Architecture Program is a compact BA-program designed for corporate internal competence development. The program runs over 7 days and is customized due to specific conditions that characterize the company and the market.
The Business Architecture Framework bridges the gap between strategy and structure by connecting business strategy, business models, business processes with management, organization and IT. The participants of the seven day BA-program also gain deep knowledge on how to transform business models by working with 15 distinct steps on how to analyze, innovate and realize new business models.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND DISPOSITION OF THE PROGRAM
Three core skills are developed in the Business Architecture Program:
Bridging the gap between strategy and structure
In the program the participants learn how to bridge the gap between business strategy and corporate structures. We focus on a comprehensive framework connecting strategic intent to processes, IT, organization and governance.
Designing competitive Business Models
In the program the participants learn how to develop value propositions of a business and to coordinate and design competences, processes and value networks with customer segments, channels and relations in order to create successful business models.
Making Business Models come true
In the program the participants learn the art and science of turning business model ideas into practice delivering high profit growth – and sustain flexibility over time through a well managed business architecture.
Day 1-2 (Business Arcitecture Framework):
Introducing the program and learning to know each other
Understanding the Business Architecture Framework
Learning the concept of the Business Model
Introducing the role of the Business Architect
Understanding the fundamentals of Business Strategy, Business Processes, IT and SOA, Management and Organization
Day 3-4 (Business Model Analysis):
Learning how to analyze and model a process system (to level 5)
Understanding the connection between processes, information and IT and defining components and capabilities
Better understand the integral parts of the business model concept
Learning how to find, describe, visualize and analyze business models
Day 5-6 (Business Model Innovation and Realization):
Learning and practicing Business Model Innovation
Learning how to design competitive business models
Understanding the importance of aligned organization and governance structure
Learning how to manage a portfolio of Business Models
Learning how to develop and manage the business architecture over time
Understanding the critical elements of Business Model Transformation
